Headwork
The headworks is designed to safely pass through the floating debris and design flood without obstructing the power generation. The design concept of the plant is solely based on 40 – percentile exceedence level of flow, according to the governing rules/law. The design discharge is 32.4m3/s. Headworks consist of weir, intake, under sluice, Spillway and other associated structure. Mobilization of the construction site and contractors camp and infrastructures has been completed. Site clearance and excavation of headworks is completed.Construction of the undersluice, head regulator and gravle trap is completed and the construction of weir and cutoff wall also completed so that construction of weir is 100% completed.
