Access Road90%
About 17 km of access road from Balephi Bazaar to the headworks and powerhouse has been upgraded and protected.
Land Acquisition & Compensation95%
Land for the powerhouse, camp and penstock alignment has been acquired; final penstock parcels are being finalized.

Weir, intake, under-sluice, spillway and gravel trap are fully constructed at the headworks site.
Approach Canal100%
The 82 m approach canal connecting the settling basin and gravel trap is fully complete.
Settling Basin100%
Designed to trap 90% of 0.40 mm particles; excavation, main body, pond and hopper wall are complete.
Headrace Canal95%
910 m of the 948 m headrace canal linking the settling basin to the forebay is complete.
Forebay100%
Site clearance, bottom slab, side walls and bellmouth installation are fully complete.
Penstock, Anchor Block & Saddle Support60%
Site clearance, excavation and construction of saddle supports and anchor blocks are underway.
